nešto kao čokolada



Super zimska čokolada, pogotovo ako imate hladne ruke i nemate grijanje. I inače je super ali bit ćete musavi skroz. Talište kokosovog ulja je pri oko 24 °C, ali ova prekrasna jednostavna poslastica može bez problema stajati u frižideru.

što/
1/2 čaše kokosovog ulja (može čak i manje)
1/2 čaše kakaa u prahu
1/2 čaše rogača u prahu (ja sam stvarno imala prah, a ne onaj krupnije mljeveni)
1/2 čaše sitnih grožđica
1/3 čaše narezanih badema

kako/
Stavite u zdjelicu kokosovo ulje, kakao i rogač. Zdjelicu stavite u posudu s vrućom vodom (ako je kokosovo ulje u krutom stanju). Dobro promiješajte žlicom. Dodajte grožđice i bademe, promiješajte i izlijte smjesu na tanjur. Stavite u zamrzivač na 5-10 minuta ili u hladnjak na 10-20 minuta, ili dok se ne stvrdne. Razrežite na komade i uživajte! Čuvajte u hladnjaku, jer će se na sobnoj temperaturi rastaliti.

Ako se hranite samo biljkama, ovo nije za svaki dan se nažderat nego za pomalo, ponekad, kad vas baš uhvati.

što ako/
Bilo bi idealno 2/3 količine kokosovog ulja zamijeniti kakaovim maslacem, onda biste dobili stabilniju čokoladu koja se ne rastali pri sobnoj temperaturi. Ovdje u Faru nema kakaovog maslaca a znam da je u Hrvatskoj dosta skup, pa kako tko voli.

something like a chocolate

Great winter treat, especially if you have cold hands and don't have heating in the house. Well it is great anyway, but you might get all smeared with it... Coconut oil melting temperature is around 24 °C, but this beautiful sweet pleasure works pretty well when kept in the fridge.

what/
1/2 cup coconut oil (even less than that will do)
1/2 cup cacao powder
1/2 cup carob powder
1/2 cup small raisins
1/3 cup almond pieces

how/
Put the coconut oil, cacao and carob in a bowl and, if the coconut oil is a solid, put the bowl into a pot full of hot water to melt. Mix it all well with a spoon. Add the raisins and almond pieces, mix it and pour the mixture on a plate. Place it in a freezer for 5-10 minutes or in a fridge for 10-20 minutes or until it hardens. Cut in pieces and enjoy! Store it in a fridge, because it will melt on room temperature. 

also/
This is not meant to be eaten every day or in big quantities, especially if you are on a plant-based diet. Treat yourself with a square every now and then, when you really really feel like it.

what if/
It would be perfect to replace 2/3 of the amount of coconut oil with cacao butter. This way the chocolate would not melt at the room temperature. Just sometimes the cacao butter is either not so easily accessible or it is too expensive, so make it however works best for you.
