Nisam imala ništa već namočeno pa dehidrirano (nekad to radim s bademima i lješnjacima, nekad se ne sjetim obnoviti zalihu), pa sam sve koristila samo tako, sirovo, bez namakanja.

1/2 šalice lješnjaka
2/3 šalice ribanog kokosa
2-3 jušne žlice kokosovog šećera

3-4 jušne žlice datuljinog sirupa

Bademe, lješnjake, prvih 2/3 šalice kokosa i kokosov šećer (količinu po ukusu) stavite u blender ili multipraktik i sameljite da se dobro usitni (ja sam koristila "pulse" tipku na blenderu). Kada je sve dobro usitnjeno - relativno rahlo s ponešto grudica od nakupljanja ulja (znači nema još onu konzistenciju maslaca od orašastih plodova), prebacite sadržaj blendera u zdjelu i dodajte datuljin sirup i vodu. Dobro izgnječite smjesu rukama i sipajte ribani kokos dok ne dobijete gustoću pogodnu za oblikovanje kuglica. Ne treba biti pregusto jer će se u hladnjaku kuglice dodatno stvrdnuti. Oblikujte kuglice i zavaljajte ih u ribani kokos da se ne lijepe.

One more really simple recipe. I was craving something sweet last night and I had to have it right away so I used what I had on my hand. Nothing was pre-soaked because it was too much spur-of-the moment thing, I had to react quickly :D So here it is:

2/3 cup almonds
1/2 cup hazelnuts
2/3 cup grated dried coconut
2-3 tbsp coconut sugar
+
3-4 tbsp date syrup
3-4 tbsp water
additional ~ 2/3 cup grated coconut
Put the almonds, hazelnuts, 2/3 cup coconut flakes and coconut sugar (the amount of sweeteners is really up to your taste) inside a blender or a food processor and process it until it's finely ground. It shouldn't let out too much oil or turn into a paste, there should be only occasional oily lumps/clusters in the mixture. Transfer the ground nut mixture into a bowl, add the date syrup and water and mix it well with your hands. Add some more coconut flakes and continue kneading the mixture until it is thick enough to shape it (don't make it too thick though, as it will thicken even more in the fridge). Shape small balls and sprinkle them with coconut flakes to avoid stickiness.
